  How I Got Started
It all started back in 1971 while working in a Gun shop which was later changed to a Western Wear shop. Due to the costs of leather products we were recieving and the poor quality of most of the imported leather, the owner went to the local Tandy and picked up a kit. From this kit each of us made a belt, and upon completion it was decided that I would spend more time practicing and make all our leather products. Needless to say I enjoyed doing leather work so much that I have continued to this day to learn and enjoy this craft. With the exception of a class on embossing from Australian Master Leather Craftsman, Peter Main, and a class on pictoral carving by my tool maker,Robert Beard,of Pro Series Tools, all my leather knowledge has come from practice and reading all the new and old leathercraft books I can lay hands on, some of these dating back to the late 1800's.

PRIDE, QUALITY, PRICING
I take great pride in the items I make and will only use the best tools and materials I can get.

While working a summer job in high school for a floor sander he gave me the best advice to live and work by: "give the job your very best and do better than the best you would expect for yourself".

This is the reason you will find the items I make are higher priced than you would buy in most stores. All my work is done by my own hands and use the finest tools and materials available for the intended use.
